A Greek cross set in a circle decorated with pears in high relief. The design is inspired by an element of the Byzantine style Saint-Simeon basilica dating from the 4th Century A.D. and located in Aleppo, Syria.
The medal has been intentionally set into a coin holder to enhance the decorative aspect.
The double beliere and the association with coarse grained ribbons remind of the universe of official decorations.
There is no clasp. The bijou ends in a knot worn as an ornament. A bijou that is both feminine and sensual. The ribbon is offered in three different colours to be changed to suit one's mood.
